About This Site
CarpalTunnelGlove.com is run by MRKT Domains, a small publisher that builds evidence-first buying guides for everyday health and desk gear. We spend our working lives at keyboards, which is exactly how we got interested in what actually protects the hands that pay the bills.
This site exists because the wrist support aisle is a mess. Compression gloves get sold as carpal tunnel treatments without evidence, copper gets woven into fabric as a story, and the product with the best clinical support, a boring neutral night splint, gets outmarketed by everything shinier. We read the trials, the FDA statements, and the spec sheets, and we tell you where the marketing ends.
How We Evaluate: The Evidence-First Method
- Match the tool to the symptom. Position problems get splints, aching gets compression. We name the mismatch the Wrong Tool Problem and fixing it comes before any brand talk.
- Check the trials. Claims get weighed against published research, not marketing copy.
- Check the fit. Sizing, left/right versions, and the comfort that keeps a product in use all count as performance.
- Ignore the infusion story. Copper adds narrative, not therapy. We rank the fabric, the splint, and the fit.
Every recommendation is built from four sources: published clinical research on splinting and compression, manufacturer specifications, independent editorial coverage, and verified owner feedback across retail platforms. When we haven't personally worn a product, we say so. When a claim is decorative (copper infusion) or a category is being oversold (gloves for nerve symptoms), we say that too. And because this is a health topic, every content page links to when to see a doctor, because braces have a ceiling and pretending otherwise would cost readers function they don't get back.
How We Make Money
Affiliate commissions, mostly through the Amazon Associates program. If you buy through a link here, Amazon pays us a percentage and your price doesn't change. Two commitments behind that: rankings never change based on commission rates, and we'd rather point you at the $15 product with evidence than the $60 product without it. We do it on every page of this site. Full details in our affiliate disclosure.
